I bought this for a good friend of mine, he had a stroke sometime ago and now can only use one arm. He had a breadboard with nails in it, to hold his bread in place while cutting slices. This I hope will serve the same purpose and look a lot better.\r\nAll I can say at this point is he was very pleased with it!\r\nGood quality, he particularly liked the rubber feet, stop it slipping on kitchen surface.\r\nTime will tell if it is any good for the bread, however if not he always has it for the Sunday joint.

SAFE STORAGE
By nature, the spikes included with this carving board, are sharp, so please do be careful when in use. However, for safer storage when not in use, these spikes can be easily removed and placed safely, out of the way, on the underside of the board. This also means you can use the board as a standard chopping board as well!
